Tight fitting, flexible base
I got this, not for the car, but for watching shows on my phone in bed. This works well for clipping the phone and giving a wide, flexible base to avoid tipping the phone without taking up much space. The couple things I found interesting are: - The base is not hard plastic, it's a strong (maybe rubber) flexible material - The base could be pulled off the rotating mount, though I'm not sure why you'd do that - The base rotates 360 degrees with clicks for each position, which is nice Pros: - Good, wide base - Phone clicks in incredibly tightly (I'm a little nervous it's too tight, but didn't do anything to the phone - Parts all seem to be high quality Cons: - The clips cover the screen a little bit - The glue on the bottom of the stand seems fine, but not incredibly strong, so I wonder how it will hold up on a hot dashboard

Just what I was looking for!
Perfect phone holder for me. I wanted something I could put in the tray that is in front of the gear shifter. This works great! I need to keep my phone out of the sun because it can overheat. This will mostly keep it in the shade. This holds multiple sizes of phones. You can pull back the little feet that holds the phone so it will hold thin or thick phones and it holds very well. It has an adhesive bottom. I’m going to use Velcro so I can use it in 2 different cars.
